Scan a QR code in three steps

Point and hold

In camera mode, point your rear camera at the QR code and keep it steady. The scanner checks every frame automatically - no button press needed to capture. For an uploaded image, decoding is instant.

Read the result

Once decoded, the result appears below. URLs appear as clickable links - always check the destination before tapping. Use the Copy button to copy text to your clipboard. If you have more than one camera, a picker lets you switch without leaving the page.

Always check the URL before tapping it. The scanner shows you the full decoded content so you can verify the destination before opening it. Only follow links you trust. The scanner only presents http and https addresses as clickable links; anything else is shown as plain text.
In your browser's address bar, tap the camera icon or the lock icon and change the camera permission to Allow. Then press Start Scanning again. On iPhone in Safari, go to Settings > Safari > Camera and set it to Allow.
